DAVID WELKER 

David Welker is a New York City based contemporary artist known for his elaborate drawings and paintings,  ranging from realism to surrealism and a form of encoded, narrative abstraction that depicts thoughts before they become word forms. 

His work over the last three decades has built a devout following of private collectors and legendary entities from the world of Rock and Roll fame. 

His career has followed a path of experimentation taking him from private mural commissions for the billionaire class to the top of the concert poster scene to sold out gallery shows across the country. 

He currently splits his time between his Manhattan studio and his Cape Cod home, where he has begun to add landscape painting to his list of Artistic dedications.
